There will be a return game in Charlottesville during the 2024-25 season.
There is no timetable on an official announcement.
Both teams are currently ranked in the ROTHSTEIN 45.
The matchup with the Cavaliers is the latest in what is an extremely aggressive non-conference schedule for Penny Hardaway and the Tigers. In addition to the matchup with Virginia, Memphis will also play a home game against Vanderbilt along with road games at Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Missouri, and VCU. The Tigers will also play three games in the Battle 4 Atlantis in November.
